Audits of reprocessing best practices have been in place in Canada since 2007 and have demonstrated a record of improvement in the safety of patients and confidence in the health care provided by Canadian facilities. CBPQA has permission from the BC Ministry of Health to use their audit tool at healthcare facilities outside of Canada, to ensure corresponding levels to Canadian standards are applied in the facility. Demonstrating an attention to safety and reduction of risk, to patients seeking surgical care outside of the Canadian Health Care system.
Janet strives to increase awareness and knowledge of appropriate surgical practices and associated risks. Her foremost hope is that people are safe and achieve their desired outcome.
